Services & FAQ
What services do you provide?
I am available in person for patients in the Bellingham area, and for all patients throughout Washington state via telehealth services.
I provide psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and supportive treatments for adolescents and adults.
Diagnoses and areas of treatment include:
- Anxiety disorders
- Depression, bipolar, and mood disorders
- ADHD and inattention disorders
- Stress, Trauma, and PTSD
- Life transitions, including divorce, relational stress, grief, and loss
- Gender dysphoria, including gender affirming hormonal therapy
- Disordered eating, including bulimia, binge eating, anorexia, ARFID, and body dysmorphia, including nutritional counseling as desired
- Sleep disorders, including various forms of insomnia
- Developmental trauma and parental wounds
- Attachment disorders
- Autism spectrum disorder and other forms of neurodiversity
- Chronic pain, fibromyalgia, and chronic fatigue
- Personality disorders
- Medication discontinuation, simplification, or taper
Note on medication discontinuation: Some people may have found themselves on complicated medication regimens over time, and desire to discuss a medication discontinuation and simplification plan. This is a higher risk situation that should be clinician directed, and I would be honored to discuss with you.
How do I establish care?
I will email you intake paperwork prior to scheduling, and once this is received, we can meet together.
How do you communicate with patients?
Patients can also reach out via phone or email, but these are not the most HIPAA-compliant options.
Do you bill insurance?
At this time, I am an out of network provider. This means that I will not bill your insurance directly. I will provide a superbill for services provided for you to submit to your insurances for reimbursement.
Rates are as follows:
- 30 min: $145
- 60 min: $195
Please note: I do require 60 min for first visit, but after that, scheduling is based on personal preference and treatment goals together. Timing and frequency is a collaborative effort.
What ages do you see?
Do you prescribe controlled substances?
I may or may not prescribe controlled substances as a part of your treatment plan. I am fully licensed and can if we deem this an appropriate part of your treatment plan.
If you come to me on chronic benzodiazepines, please note that I do NOT prescribe these on an ongoing basis for anxiety disorders. We can meet to design a taper plan in collaboration together. I may use these on a very rare, as needed basis only.
Do you provide ESA letters or PFLM forms?
Services not offered:
I only conduct evaluations for the goal of potential care and treatment, and thus do not provide assessments for legal cases or issues, or disability applications, etc.
